An accomplished 22-year martial arts veteran (Ninjutsu and Shotokan Black Belt, Kali, Capoeira and various MMA related sports), surfer and snowboarder, Philippe Til, an import from France, has been in the fitness field for over 12 years professionally, running his own studio for the past 4 years. Always looking for the “missing link” in fitness and seeking innovative ways to push the limits of his training, Philippe is skilled in Wildfitness, a method using natural movement patterns based in London, UK, and originating in Kenya, similar to the Crossfit movement. Philippe also has contributed to the development of national certification exams for NASM as item writer and exam reviewer.
Most importantly though, Philippe is an RKC Certified Instructor. Besides training people in law enforcement and special forces, Philippe knows how to apply kettlebell drills to promote better and more appropriate/relevant conditioning for fighters in their ground or stand-up skills. By reverse engineering the moves and drills fighters practice in their preparation, Philippe's approach eliminates the need for exercises that have no bearing on performance or no practical application in any aspects of MMA.
